May your Love Live on...!

When I first arrived in Santa Cruz I was at a friends house and they showed me a Coin. Honestly I secretly desired it. Yes you know what I am talking about... "my Precious". What would I do with a coin like that? Who would I give it to? What would be the intention be for the coin? I love the movement thegivingcoin is about. I consider myself a giver more than a receiver but even in that so called "giving" I want something. It might be attention, praise, money, or love. I was reminded some years ago about the nature of giving and that was... "true giving is so total that the thought of receiving does not even enter into ones consciousness" The magic of true giving is that the joy and love in sharing/giving is the instantaneous receiving. I am grateful that my awareness knows that place and practices it often. Forget the giving let it be so natural that you pour your abundance out, sharing it with others. Mastery does not come in a day so I practice practice practice. I received a coin after a beautiful day that included ecstatic dancing, acrobatic yoga, and soulful sharing. Tyler with his huge heart and generous self gifted this coin to me. I am very grateful to you for your creative expression.
I left Santa Cruz to visit my family and friends on Oahu. I knew I wanted to share this coin far away to spread this idea. I had a friend in Austin in my thoughts and a friend on Oahu. When I arrived after a 17hr. delay at the airport I was picked up at 4 a.m. by my 8 months pregnant sister and her boyfriend. As the day went on I was reminded of all the amazing things my sister has done for me in my life. The stories are many but I will start with the beginning. My sister was three years young when I was born. I happened born one week before her birthday so when my mom finally got me home she told my sister that I was her birthday present. That seemed to set the tone for our relationship she has treated me like a present ever since. I have reflected many times in my life on why my sister loves me so much to be so generous with me. One night after pondering this very question I had a dream. In that dream my sister and me where siblings. It was long ago in a village being raided by some men on horses. I took my sister and ran with her until I found a place for us to hide. It was one of those dreams that is more vibrant and "real" than most and had a tone of "this is your answer". My sister has always been there to help when I needed it. She has also needed help herself and I have witnessed such amazing courage in the healing process. I love my sister and am excited for her new daughter that is on her way. ( I got to give it to two people at the same time!) Traci you deserve this coin as a small token of what you give. Mahalo
My intention for this coin... sibling love, pregnancy/birthing, and oceanic love.
