Coin # 129

In January 2008 I attended the blessing ceremony of the original 108 coins. I had the inspiration at that time to give away the next class series I taught along with a coin for each participant.
This coin is a member of a group of 5 coins that were given with a class called Soul Intentions, an 8 -week series combining mindfulness, emotional alchemy and deep intention. An ordinary intention is what we want. A Soul Intention is what wants to come through us.

This specific coin was given to Kai Panym, who along with other participants developed a contribution project as a part of the series. Her project was to begin hosting Alchemical Fire Circles (singing, dancing, drumming, service) on the full moon.

By 8/1/08 this coin will be passed on and its story told here.

May anyone receiving this coin access the inspiration and the courage to identify and manifest their Soul Intentions.

On Saturday, July 26th our community opened up our land to host nearly 80 beautiful, activated beings who were part of an annual Bay Area Permaculture Convergence. I was part of a team of womyn who created Opening and Closing Rituals in honor of Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Spirit.

I met an old friend and eco-ally Dave Muffly from Menlo Park, CA who was dropping off a friend at the gathering and had no intentions of staying the night. I knew that the gathering was rich with celebration, important connections, and serendipity, so I offered to host him at my home to help sway him to stay. I hooked him up with a hot shower, cozy bed, and a bike to get around. I knew he would appreciate the spirit of the coins and help seed them in my old stomping grounds of the mid-peninsula area.
I also felt that my contributions in shaping the ritual space for the gathering was in alignment with the soul intention I had about catalyzing alchemical circles of celebration on my land.
May this coin continue to be infused with the Magic of the 4 elements, serendipity of Spirit, and the simple gifts of offering the very basics of life to friends old and new!
