I was given this coin by someone who came into my life unexpectedly and who soon became a very important part of my life - someone who has taught me the true meaning of love. My heart has experienced a true opening and I wanted to share that opening with someone who has flooded my life with love, smiles, happiness, lightness, and joy - someone who I know has brought and will continue to bring love to everyone she encounters - and who will someday experience the love that I have...

It’s difficult the accept the warm words here into my currently clouded mind and body full of stress and hectic life-stuff. This coin was “birthed” almost a year ago and given to me 8 months ago. I guess I liked possessing it for a while, a reminder of the words of my sister, her sincere hope and belief that I will find love like she has someday. I guess it was also difficult for me to think of someone who could possibly need love more than me! (haha being sarcastic here)…. The time with the coin and my own growth in the past months has helped in my on going relationship with the concepts of love and relating. I do see that my life as a sister, daughter, friend, and teacher is full of love and relations and I know someday something much more too. Thank you Kathir and Emily for finding each other and thinking of me. I’m passing the coin to Morgan….she is a close friend who has literary been close to me, living as roommates, since college 5ish years ago? Morgan is slightly “away” now experiencing an amazing graduate and intercultural life program that sounds amazing. Sometimes she forgets how powerful her individual self is and she needs to believe (as I do) that THAT…her BEING will outweigh all else in the heart of another someday….
