This coin is sitting on my alter, surrounded by a Love Magnet, a tiny white sculpture of entwined bodies, a picture of a rose and a bee, my first and only mala, given to me by a favorite teacher, a clear crystal, given to me when I moved to Portland, for clarity, a turquoise bead I bought from avant-garde theatre royalty, my vision board, and a golden key from my best friend. I will let it marinate amongst these precious objects, and manifest what it wants to be.

The coin lived on my altar for three months or so, and then soaked up all the good juju as it sat on an impromptu altar at the center of my Mala Kirtan Party, where I led 108 different chants in one evening.

On April 3rd I taught a delightful AcroYoga workshop in Bend, and the day after, I was honored to witness a men's meeting on rites of passage. Ryan was at the center of the group, sitting upright with his heart open, offering his attention and positivity to the speaker. I was reminded of The Celestine Prophesy...something about meditating near plants and increasing the life force of that which we put our attention on.

Afterwards, I felt compelled to talk to him, and he offered me the same compassionate attention. I recognized someone who had been concentratedly working on their ability to be present. I felt heard, loved, and ready to share intimately. I was inspired.
