I am writing this as coin holder Amy Olson is passing it on. We'd been teaching a series of workshops (AcroYoga) with assistant Chelsey Gribbon. On our drive back from Heber City, we hit an icy patch and fishtailed at 65 mph, spinning 3 times before entering the ditch and slamming into an embankment.

The next morning, we taught another workshop (tweaked bodies and all) and that evening, Amy found the giving coin in her box of recently arrived calendars.

Chelsey had flown Amy all day for Demos, so Amy wanted to give back...so right now Amy has Chelsey in a taffy twist, trying to loosen up some of the accident trauma in Chelsey's neck, shoulders and back. Her voice is soothing and it is obvious that she is coming from a place of true healing and love.

I sit sipping hot cocoa with goat's milk, watching the woman I love being flown by a dear friend and beautiful fellow teacher. It is cold and snowy outside, but warm in this space, and in the support we are showing each other.

They are moving into prasarita twist (whoops, now they are on top of each other laughing). Now trying again - down again....heeeheeeheee....very soft falls though. It is great to see Amy basing with such skill.

Third time - this time is was smooth, and now Chelsey is flying in bat. Now the music picked up into a mellow acro-liscious trance beat - "all you gotta do - is look inside..."

Amy is a true healer, and the lifted jalandarhra she just took Chelsey into is evidence of it....

And now the leg love begins, and the giving coin changes hands.
