I received this coin with the loving tenderness of being held in the arms of the Beloved. Receptive, empty, yin vessel of the sacred dream time as priestess I am. Opening to alchemical transformation through the mixing and melding of opposites in absolute presence of the mystical Lover who imparts Love through One Breath. I wrote this poem to capture the essence of my experience.

Poem for the Mystical Lover

How do I adore Thee?
What dost Thou desire?
Shall I don my priestess robes and come to Thee?
Embodying the Goddess
Shall I bring Thee roses from my garden?
Shall I wash Thy feet in perfumed waters?
My tears
And dry them with my hair
My breath
Shall I anoint Thee with holy oils?
Shall I feed Thee sweet fruits upon Thy tongue?
Shall I recite poetry to Thee?
Or perhaps as Devadasi
Dance to entice Thee with exotic mudras and asanas
Shall I shed my garment?
And be as Sheba to Solomon
So that songs of Love
May pour forth from Thy mouth
Songs that sing praises to
My perfect breasts
My round belly
My full hips
My fertile crescent
I shall let Thee hold me
Caressing my curves in quiet rapture
I am Thy Holy Vessel
Thou art My Sacred Ground
In our temple where Beauty Beyond Beauty abounds
And no prayer is greater
Than this union of
Body and Spirit
Mind and Heart
Psyche and Soul

I received this coin in 2009. Even though it was through correspondence, I remember first holding the coin and smelling the perfume of a woman 3000 miles away. It was penetrating and lovely. In Fall of 2009, we actually met and this connection brought me to initiation and priesthood.

To me, the coin and the events surrounding the coin and the events resulting from the coin are all magical and sacred to me. I am grateful to Le'ema for showing me herself so openly and sharing her essence in such a loving way. She is a blessing in my life.

I cherished this coin until it was time to offer it to someone else. It's now in the hands of a lovely young lady who is on a journey of her own.

May the passing from hand and heart to heart and hand continue endlessly. May the string of love that passes through this coin reach the unimaginable future and bind our universe with a kiss for all eternity. May the essence of my heart remain with this coin always..
