This coin was given to me by Jill Beamers who, in her heart of of unrelenting gold, passed it to me after a wonderful and transforming massage.

I now pass the coin (albeit delayed - the coin is so stunning it attempted to live here..) to the always delightful Ms. Emily Merrill. For Emily, I stopped my own day to drive her around town. Emily needed help to fulfill her errand commitments since here car had suddenly become unavailable.

This is an update to my last post - Instead of talking about who I am giving the coin to and why, the idea is to talk about how I feel in regards to receiving my gift. So here goes...

I receive this coin with the love of a massage that touched my spirit and warmed my heart. This gift lovingly reminded me of the wonderful friends and that I have attracted in my life.

Thank you Beam, for being the powerful force of love that you are. Stepping into your path has been like walking into a ray of warm light.

it's been nearly two months since i've received Giving Coin no. 31 and i've been basking in both gratitude and silence around its arrival.

for the silence, i apologize to jill and emily.

there's a certain stillness that arrived along with the coin. on that day, the sun here in los angeles was golden and brilliant. time stopped. and a surge of friendship and years was presented to me in a way that was new. a new experience. and that was a gift unto itself.

so thank you pedro.. petersam.. the coin, the dvd you sent and the new angle on how our friendship can be perceived were all right on time for me. beautiful.

after a good hour of sitting with the coin undisturbed, its next destination called me. far from beaches of california, there's a very special cousin of mine that will be unwrapping a gift in the stunning and stellar wild country of alaska. he is a gem to me and our other cousins. soon, i'd love to hand him a gift like this down here in california or colorado on a family trip. until then, the usps gets a payday.
