This Coin Birthed by Kyle Shull of New York, New York - February 2008

Yay! Coin #082!

Tyler has asked us to Give a gift "to someone who needs a little help..." and since I think we all have been at one point in our lives "someone who needs a little help..." I would like this coin to be in thanks for those who have graciously given to us in our time of need.

In my practice of Buddhism the 1st precept that we follow in order to attain liberation and ultimitely help all beings is Generosity.

According to the Buddha, generosity, or sharing what we have, is one of the central pillars of a spiritual life. In the act of giving we develop our ability to let go, cultivate a spirit of caring, and acknowledge the inter-connectedness that we all share.

For this 082 Giving Coin, let it be a symbol of all of those who have given to you, with which those gifts have made you a better human being.

If you have recieved this gift, that means you have given of yourself in one way or another that has benefited someone else. Feel joyous and send love in return to the one who has given the coin to you.

When you pass this coin on to a generous person in your life, if you wish, post here why you are giving this coin. This will allow future coin recipients to continue this trail of generosity and love and read how it came to them.

I think I have clearly set the tone, so you know what you must do now. Give on, love on and stay true to this very present moment.

Setting my intention for this coin. May it be gifted forward in the spirit of generosity, that all who receive it also receive the sense that they are deserving of good things . . . delicious and delightful things . . . That no matter the state of their lives, they may feel rich in that which comforts and enhances them.

I just received the giving coin in the mail. I am excited about the possibilities of how to share this magnificent gift. I originally thought I would offer Watsu to someone, now, I am not sure how I will pass this on. I hope to pass it on soon and with great love, magic and intention. Thanks Tyler for your innovation.
